In this paper, we propose a method to detect partial-duplications accompanied with affine transformation in an image. The proposed method estimates a transformation matrix of duplications accurately. By using the estimated matrix, duplicated regions are detected in detail and represented by different colors in an image.

This paper presents a method for blurred image restoration. Shrinkage phenomena in photopolymer holographic recording media was analyzed using Elastica which is the linear elasticity simulator for multi-phase solid systems. Since photopolymer recording medium is sandwiched with glass substrate, main stress to shrink is vertical direction against glass substrate. However, we found that the elasticity caused by glass substrate doesn't influence inner photopolymer and it shrinks isotropically in this region.

It has been known that a good broad band antenna could be obtained by adding two parasitic elements at a small distance from and parallel to a dipople antenna. In this paper, the dipole antenna with the two parasitic elements was analyzed. The effect on the dipole antenna with the two parasitic elements was examined for broadband performance of the impedance characteristic. As a result, it is found that the dipole antenna with the two parasitic elements has 53% band width.

The push-to-talk communication line for broadcasting organization is used in VHF band (160MHz Band), and used for a way of communication in the program production. In this report, we designed a helical antenna with a metal case as a handy-type transceiver and calculated the SAR in the human body exposed to electromagnetic waves from the antenna. As a result, the SAR in the human body exposed to electromagnetic waves from the antenna located as usual operation satisfied the limit value indicated in the safety guidelines by the ministry of internal affairs and communications.

We have been developing an experimental prototype that applies TDD(Time Division Duplex) for bi-directional FPU(Field Pick-up Unit), and have done some experiments. We propose a method to apply a color filter made on another transparent substrate to colorize the BSI CCD chip processed chip-based BSI. Before applying this method, we analyzed the color crosstalk on this BSI CCD by optical simulation. Amount of crosstalk depends on the distance to the surface of BSI CCD, but it can be reduced and stabilized by the application of microlens. This method can absorb the uneveness of the surface on BSI CCD.

High-dose radiation destroys cancer cells in radiation therapy. Verification imaging is performed to adjust the patient's position to precisely target the tumor. We have applied a refraction contrast imaging technique to verification imaging to improve the accuracy of radiation treatment. The edge enhancement effect in refraction contrast imaging can produces higher contrast images than those in conventional imaging. In this study, rat skull images were obtained by refraction contrast imaging and conventional imaging for the evaluation of image quality improvement.

Toward a low-voltage-operating high-performance microphone for next generation, we are studying a silicon electret condenser microphone. Recently we developed a prototype microphone with inorganic electret charged by corona discharge. The microphone exhibited sufficient sensitivity and frequency range comparable to biased silicon condenser microphone. We also confirmed outstanding heat resistance of the inorganic electret compared to conventional organic electrets.

This paper presents a time-resolved CMOS image sensor with lock-in pixels using draining only modulation.
