The purpose of this study was to identify the structure of modern nursing training system by F. Nightingale's literary writings. The results were as follows:

1.The training school is independent of the hospital financially.

2.The training staff forms pyramid under the leadership of the matron who is superintendent of nurses in that hospital.

3.The trainning is done with dualistic approach: technical training and moral discipline.

4.They have 2 courses : course for all probationers and training to train.

5.To learn is that junior nurse follows senior's model.

6.The staff evaluate their probationers'ability in detail.

    7.The staff establish favorable environment.

Since this system has 19th century's flavor, as the development of pedagogy in 20th century, some shortcomings of that is solving. But dualistic approach has as yet been scarcely dealt with.
