For the practical diagnosis, therapy and prevention of cerebrovascular disease have been studied in several series of experiments on dogs. The author ob-served the mechanisms of cerebral lesions by their kinds and severity, and found that the most frequent sites of the both hemorrhagic and nonhemorrhagic lesions in our procedure are occured at Nucleus caudatus. The collateral circulation in the brain is emphasized in this report, and it will prevent occurence of cerebro-vascular lesions.
