Eggs treated with hyaluronidase and eserine (10
9g/cc, 30min) were exposed at 30°C to the Ringer solution of digitoxigenin, lanatoside C, g-Strophanthin or digitoxin. Sensitivity to cardiac glycosides was more raised in the eserinized egg than in the non-eserinized, and 10
-10g/cc concentration could be detected, and 1/2 × 10
-9g/cc determined quantitatively, using 0.02 cc of sample solution (contained 1 or 0.1% of ethanol).
