Business Continuity Management (BCM) becomes critical for both private companies and governments, in which they prepare for emergency situations, such as big earthquakes and security incidents. We propose an incident management system, which is based on a workflow management. The system supports corroboration work among incident response teams in the early stage of the incidents.
In these days, nurturing became heavier burden for young parents because of destruction of regional community in Japan. In order to solve this problem, information technology can help build a mutuallysupportive society by supporting communication between parents, nurseries, and other families. For this purpose, this article proposes a children's life-log-sharing system "asnaro". "asnaro" is a simple and easy-to-use life-log sharing platform, which can manipulate by pen input interface. This system will supports communication between parents and nursery teacher by sharing photo and other data of children's growth. This article shows basic concepts of "asnaro", and an example of actual use at a nursery.
This study proposes the use of the methodology of Artificial Intelligence within Japanese agriculture. Japanese agriculture is facing a critical situation, and the problems are not likely to resolve using existing concepts. The study will start, focusing on the cultivation of tomatoes. Current activity is collecting and sorting data. The ultimate goal is to establish a system which can predict the growth of crops using Artificial Intelligence. In other words, to systematize the heuristics and the knowledge of farmers and build a system which will support agriculture.
