    Itwasknownthatthepolyethylenethinfilmwasdepositedonsubstratebyplasmatreatmentwiththeethylenegasasamonomer.Itwasveryimportantforcontrolofthestructureandthepropertyofplasmadepositedfilmsfromvariousorganicmonomerstoclarifyplasmareactionwiththeethylene.Thisstudywasinvestigatedoncharacterizationoftheethyleneplasmadepositedfilmandtheinfluenceofmixedgases.Theplasmadepositedfilmandtheoilysubstancewasobtainedonaglassplatebyplasmatreatmentsinethylene-argon,-nitrogen,or-carbondioxidemixtureatatmosphericpressure.FT-IRwastakenfoi、plasmadepositedsubstancebeforeandaftermethanolsoaking.GC-MSwastakenforplasmaproductgasesandmethanolextractivesfromplasmadepositedsubstance.Itwassuggestedthepresenceofminutequantityof-CH2-CH2-,>C=0and>C-0-groupsintheplasmadepositedsubstancefromFT-IRspectra.Anditwassuggestedthatthecarbondioxidefragment,producedbyablationingasphase,reactedwithethylene,andformedesters.carbonicacidsandalcoholsintheplasmadepositedsubstancefromGC-MSchromatograms.Affinitybetweenasubstrateandtheplasmadepositedfilmwasimprovedbyargonmixing.
