This paper introduces the rule and the management system in order to carry on successfully by giving an example of educational application of SNS into Project−Based−Learning(PBL)as a means to connect members, and also analyzes the role of social networking(SNS)in communications with others and self−reflection. To make communication smoothly, we built the networking as an internal social network(ISN)under highly administrated environment. As the seminar proceeded, we found the members communicate with a relaxed feeling within a virtual space, rather than in a real space. The role of networking has changed gradually from supplemental function to dominative one. The evidence of successful communication between real space and virtual space revealed the issue of today's communication style.

In response to the demand for more sophisticated computerization, NetCommons, an information−sharing system, has attracted attention. This is open source software(OSS)that solves school−related issues with one system. This article introduces three cases where the Education Center and related institutes implemented NetCommons in schools under their administration and played a leading role in promoting computerization. The system integrates all functions necessary at school sites, and was shown to be highly effective in terms of ease of operation and security. Further study is needed to assess its content and operation.

To improve the veracity, several teachers are usually required to evaluate and mark the same summary in an examination. However, it will exhaust much time and energy and therefore exert a heavy burden on them. If a reliable auto−evaluation system is available to assist the teachers, on the one hand, it will reduce their work greatly;on the other hand, it will opportunely and rightly give the mark to learner without teacher's help, so the summary could be corrected and marked repeatedly by learner. Thereby, this system will enhance the learner's summary ability. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the feasibility of the system's applications in summary auto−evaluation with a view to Latent Semantic Analysis(LSA)and validate its usability. In this paper a model is established to elaborate how to conduct the summary auto−evaluation by taking advantage of LSA, the analysis result of this model shows the usability in contrast with the method of Tsubakimoto and Yoshimoto.

We tried to develop an education program which aimed at not only disaster prevention but also the development of well.rounded character and social skill among junior high school students. In the beginning, degree of students’ preparedness fordisaster was evaluated by computer. CG animation was used to explore several issues such as the importanceofcommunications with neighbors in ordinary time. Role play scenar-ios illustrating victims’ selfish behavior in the evacuation shelter were used to promote experience.based learning. Finally, dangerous areas vs. safe areas in the neighborhood were mapped out from the standpoints of the elderly and handicapped persons to expand the learning place from e.learning to the real world. We concluded that this disaster preventioneducation program developed well.rounded character and social skill among students.
