In this paper we focused at contents of "literal expression". And we made a content of "transformation of equation about the primary and the subordinate variables" in them. Moreover we examined it through a educational practice. It follows from the result that 6th graders could understand the contents easily and they could put it to practical use too. And it was found that the contents were very significance for 6th graders on 2nd stage of partnership between elementary school and junior high school.

The author had been attending a seminar in Nara University of Education for a few years. The branch of the seminar is functional analysis, and especially hypergroup theory has been widely studied. In this paper, we report the seminar and describe the study on mathematical education. First, we explain the seminar's contents, which are closely related to the mathematics for high school students. Next, we describe our study on some problems derived from the seminar.

In this paper, we developed scales for assessing dispositions to mathematics for teachers and students in elementary schools. In order to develop scales for dispositions to mathematics of techers and students, we carried out two tests on a total of 137 teachers and 332 6th grade students in elementary schools. We then conducted exploratory fact analysis on the results of two tests, as follows:
・Two factors were selected from respective items of two tests taken by teachers and students.
・Cronbach's α coefficients of reliability were positive for two factors.
・The Goodness of Fit Index(GFI), Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index(AGFI), and Root Mean Square Error of Approximation(RMSEA) were positive for respective items in two tests in terms of confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, the respective items of the two tests were deemed to be valid.
After analysis we evaluated the relationships between dispositions to mathematics for teachers and students.
