Recommendation of the utensil drainpipe is reconsidered, and a degree of freedom of the building design aims at the acquisition of the great improvement with the new drainage system as that result of the pipe design, execution and the maintenance control. Then, evolution to the high-performance pipe system is aimed at with the reduction of use of water and the higher function as that result. Because the design execution of the small diameter slope-less drainage system utility verification model was done, it is reported following the drainage system outline to the former report, the report of the utensil drainpipe character and the drainage ability of the drainage stack pipe system in this paper.

NCDS is a siphon drainage system using slim pipes. If it is applied to drain rainwater, concealment of a down pipe will become easy. We surveyed the noise characteristic on concealing pipe indoors ,and studied the reduction measure of a noise level. Consequently, when the pipe was bent smoothly, it turns out that an indoor noise level falls. By the nozzle that installed in the drainage entrance, external noise was enlarged at the big flow, but it was made small at the small flow Moreover, when the pipe was made still slimmer, it turns out that noise becomes large.

This study discusses the drainage performance evaluation and the design method of horizontal drainage pipe systems with drainage header piping, which are applied to SI housing units. In reality, however, there are many drainage systems that are configured with total piping lengths and drainage header piping lengths that are shorter than those used for our studies. Merits of having such a drainage system in SI housing units are also examined based on the results of the experiment

The drainage performance of a drainage system with special fitting is getting poorer as the building becomes higher, according to the test report conducted by Urban Development Corporation using their drainage testing tower for high-rise buildings. In this study, a vertical drainage system with special fitting was installed exclusively for the tests in an existing super high-rise apartment building of the height of 150 meters (43 stories), and its performance was verified by the tests in accordance with the test method quite similar to SHASE-S218.

Flow rate transition of water discharged from water closet during running down horizontal pipes was simulated numerically. It enabled to obtain the transition of drainage load such as qd value, and approved this simulation could be established as a drainage load transition predicting method. Especially treating Manning's coefficient n as a imitation variable improved the precision of the result. The effect of various drainage pipes' shapes to the flow were also considered, such as locations of bends, and then a wide use simulation program feasibly display real drainage system is aimed to develop.

This study investigated characteristics of pheumatic pressure and vent in drainage system with a stack vent equipped air admittance valves using the14th floor scale drainage experimental tower. As a result, it is obvious that the more there is much equipped air admittance valves, the pheumatic pressure becomes low and, the vent value increases in this system. And, it is obvious that horizontal fixture branch's length does not affect the pheumatic pressure and the vent value.

We examined the intermittent and continuous operating method of household garbage disporsers on the fluidity of disposer drainage by weighting discharged garbage at uniform intervals and measuring total running time of firstly discharged garbage in the disposer drainage. The following are the objectives of this study. Compared to the continuous operating method, the intermittent operating method decreases the maximum solid concentration in the drainage, and increases the fluid velocity. The fluid velocity is strongly affected by the maximum solid concentration in the drainage, which is determined by the disposer operating method and water feed concentration.

Today, various approaches and measures are attempted to conserve energy in many fields. On the other hand, the energy consumption of commercial structures, including office buildings, still shows the tendency to increase. To save energy within the entire building, the actual state of energy consumption must be accurately identified. In this paper, we report on telemetering energy measuring system for buildings intended for use in small to medium-sized existing buildings that do not have adequate energy saving qualities.

Recently, open networking technology of a building environment and energy management system is advanced. The standard protocol such as BACnet or LonTalk protocol is used for these systems. It comes to be able to obtain various operation data of apparatus than before. Therefore, it is expected that the limits of data sharing and the method of using data will become much more important in the future. In this research, as initial examination of this data utilization, questionnaire was performed and the problem in the present building management was clarified. Then, a new method of searching out illegal operation with using data from building environment and energy management system network is proposed.

The experiment was conducted for the detached houses of 100 households in Hiroshima. Using the signal of a human body detection sensor, the air-conditioner control by HEMS performs regulation of set point temperature, and a stop of an air-conditioner at the time of an absence, and acquires the energy conservation effect. Lighting is turned on by the signal of the detection sensor and an illuminometer. The amount of energy consumption of a participating household was small about 20% compared with the average value of the warm ground in previous reference.

Although power consumption is cut down by adjusting set point temperature, since the power consumption for returning set point temperature to the original state increases when the resident has returned to the room, the energy conservation effect does not become so large. The rate of annual energy conservation checked that 2.3% and a big effect could not be desired by the average of 100 participating households 13% at the maximum. The energy conservation effect by lighting control of a passage was searched for with 4.3% by various compensation. It checked that the energy conservation effect of the household by HEMS was only 0.6%.

The results from multiple chiller systems simulation had been analyzed in order to fmd the representing points of COP in IPLV equation. In order to find representing points of COP, this paper utilized two methods: cluster analysis and analysis based on cooling load. According to the results of both methods, we found that analysis based on cooling load has an advantage that the representing points of COP are at constant cooling load in each range. Finally by using cluster analysis with the results from analysis based on cooling load, it is recommended to use only 6 representing points of COP in order to calculate IPLV in multiple chiller systems.

A single stage cycle or a cycle with a liquid gas heat exchanger can be calculated by this program, and a P-H diagram and a capacity diagram can be created by inputting heat exchange area, a compressor performance, etc. into this program. This paper suggests a process to install district scale CHIP systems (District CHP) that could overcome installation obstacles of district scale energy supply system in an existing district. This paper compares CHP implementation strategies to install District CUP and CHP for individual buildings (Individual CHIP) by applying a bottom-up type district energy system simulation model for the business district. In this district, the District CUP strategy can achieve higher energy saving compared with the Individual CUP strategy. This result implies that a combination of buildings based on CHP technologies could be an energy-efficient option for densely developed existing districts.

This research aims to do the operation support of the system by constructing the simulation that can correspond to commissioning of facilities which cogeneration system is installed into. In this report, the control of heat source equipments and the capacity of gas engines were examined as improvement items. As a result, the effect of the improvement of the system that improved energy conservation could be examined.
