JOURNAL FREE ACCESSAuthors give the method of obtaining the perfect light distribution curve of any light source by meansof photoelectric cell. The method now described is the combination of a potasium hydride cell, a triodevalve to amplify the cell current, an oscillographic vibrator to produce deflection proportional to the cellcurrent and a mechanism to synchronise the revolution of light source and recording film. Thus the complete light distribution curve can be recorded within few seconds and as examples distribution curves ofseveral shades when fitted with vacuum and gas filled tungsten lamps are given.View full abstractDownload PDF (16688K) -
