The farmer facing challenges suppression of rising cost of feed due to be dependent on imported feed. The ecofeed has been a focus of attention as a solution for the challenges. The warranty of the preference and usefulness of the feed is absolutory necessary to develop the eco-feed. We took note of the aloe-vera discarded and attempted to elucidate the preference and usefulness of aloe-vera feeds for goat. Eight goats (4 males and 4 females)were assigned randomly into two groups. All two groups served to both control (commercial feed)and treatment (aloe-vera feed)according to the crossover design. In present study, the preference test and feeding experiment were carried out. We recorded the eating time, feed intake and number of animals finished eating feed given in the preference test. In the feeding experiment, the measurements of body weight, BCS and FAMACHA score, and the blood parameter analysis were performed. The eating time of animals finished eating was same as that of the good preference control feed. The body weight, BCS and FAMACHA score in the treatment were similar to those in the control, and the blood parameters for nutritional condition of animals and metabolic status of various organs was not different between the feeds. These results suggests that aloe-vera feed is palatable and useful for goat.
