Rubber vibration isolators are widely used as spring elements. In order to study the statical characteristics of rubber vibration isolators, hysteresis loops under large load and small load ranges, and load-deflection behaviors under load limit in compression are observed. The experimental values of statical stiffness are calculated from the observed records of hysteresis loops and from load-deflection curves. The values of statical stiffness are found to be a little different one another by the method of measurement. In order to study the dynamical characteristics of rubber vibration isolators, a resonance method is used. The dynamical stiffness are found to be larger than the statical stiffness ones.
These days analogue quartz timepieces are becoming increasingly multi-functional. But they are not only more expensive than ordinary watches, but also are more difficult to use because of the complex handling. So we have developed Cal.N94 series which are multi-axis and multi-function analogue quartz timepieces. By rationalizing specifications, rationalizing structure of movement and production system, and adopting structure of mode indicator, they become inexpensive and convenient to use. This paper describes the specifications and structure of Cal.N94 series.
