This paper describes the electrical contact for a clock. In an electrical clock, when we design the contact, it ought to be selected in careful consideration on an electrical circuit, physical and chemical charactors of itself and atomosphere. Our Auto Winding Clock (Hi-Auto series) was tested over a number of such factors and we found that Ag-Pd alloy was snperior to any other contact material, and considerable reliability in the surface contamination, contact resistanse and wear was confirmed on the alloy by 3 millions of "make and break" of the circuit which corresponds with ten years actual use of the movement.
