Conventional consumption functions are obtained by solving the condition that the Cobb-Douglas utility function is maximized under the budget constraint equation. Nakazawa (2014) constructed a model in which the consumption in the utility function is replaced by its ratio or difference to the reference point, based on the prospect theory. Here, only the past consumption is considered as the reference point. In reality, however, not only the past consumption but also the consumption of others becomes the reference point, and may affect the satisfaction of people. In this research, we extend the model of Nakazawa (2014) and construct a model that considers both past consumption and consumption of others as a reference point.

Conventionally, we need to have an additional investigation to measure customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to develop indices to evaluate customer loyalty using only the purchase history related to services. These indices quantitatively evaluate the intensity of loyalty and the signal of change by using the data of customer visit and staff nomination. We analyzed customer loyalty of a hair salon chain by using these indices, and evaluated the tendencies of customer loyalty within customers, staffs, and salons.

Today, universities are actively making their lectures accessible to the
public. This research will use timestamps and eye-tracking in order to measure the utilization of video content. A timestamp in this context refers to elapsed time since the start of the video, and it is linked to a viewer. By using this timestamp, it be able to clarify their previously vague ideas in a relatively clear manner. On the other hand, Eye tracking can visualize the potential movement of video viewers and clarify viewers' focus points. And we can feed back to lecture material. We will also construct a platform where this timestamp and eye-tracking can be utilized, and support wide-ranging utilization of video content.

Learning Analytics using logs is an important issue in order to realize the adaptive learning support system. We have been working on constructing a learner model based on browsing history log of high granularity on electronic learning materials and analyzing learners based on editing history log which recorded the transition of source code during programming learning. By analyzing these learning logs individually, we have already shown that it is possible to estimate learners' individual missteps and weak points partially.
In this study, by combining these learning logs we will try to grasp learning conditions of the learners more precisely than ever before. Then we discuss ways to accurately analyze the status of individual learners.

The application area of IoT and big data for manufacturers is not limited to maintenance service. IoT and big data bring us two kind of revolutionary opportunity to transform manufacturing to manufacture service. The one opportunity can be expressed as “the change from demand forecast to demand monitoring." Another opportunity is based on progress of social decomposition of a business organization into a combination of many types of platform businesses. It allows an organization to use specific expertize of respective platforms, as like a product can be composed of superior parts and softwares.
The above revolutionary opportunity also requires change at corporate strategy and operations management. We will examine the business process with integration of MRP model and lean system to open the door.

This trend reaches not only to huge IT companies such as Apple, Google, Amazon, but also the automotive industry which has the basic physical elements and the new topic, such as self driving etc. As a result, recent innovation is considered to have stepped up the new stage. But its actual condition is unclear. Therefore, in this paper, I outline the automobile industry from the viewpoint of distributed agency which preceded in the IT industry, and consider digital innovation management in existing industry which basically includes physical elements.

Performance of Multi-level classification systems constituted by a plural number of binary classifiers usually called ECOC (Error Correcting Output Codes) is discussed and evaluated, assuming the M-dimensional Normal Distribution for a classification data model with M (? 3) categories. First, we show that the probability of classification error Pe and the number of classifiers N are in a trade-off relationship. Next, we apply this result to the system evaluation model and clarify the behavior when M becomes large. As with the case of benchmark data (document classification task), it shows that it has also desirable properties such as "flexible" and "elastic".

Using and building upon the framework of innovation created by Clayton M. Christensen, I attempted to shed light upon the factors related to what kind of innovation regarding iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad Apple has developed since 1998, and how Apple has secured a Competitive Advantage.
I proved that the iPod, iPhone and iPad have all been New-market disruptions, which I stated before Christensen's thesis was published in September 2016.
The results of my analysis show that these three products can be categorized as New-market disruptions based on their use of Networking Services like the App Store.
I believe that my analysis is more accurate than that of Christensen due to the factor analysis I performed and the logic verification of my analysis.

Through the collaborations, there are successful cases, for example, of a person in succession to a company, having met with success due to collaboration between different fields. In this study, we carried out interview investigations on what kind of "Katari" = "Antenarrative" ("Interactive" communication) in a process of new technology development, and analyzed the characteristic of "Katari" that was a turning point. We showed that transformation of the information value influenced promotion of the new technology development and in this way considered their behavior pattern from the viewpoint of "Katari".

As the growth of IT, Web advertisement continues to grow. The cost of Web advertising media in Japan reached 1.2206 trillion yen in 2017. This was 23.6% of total advertising expenditure. On the other hand, the higher involvement products, the less likely to purchase impulsively due to touching the advertisement. Those who search information spontaneously can be expected purchasing behavior. However, there are few examples that quantitatively validated it. Therefore, focusing on the Japanese automobile industry, we validated the difference of purchasing behavior (estimation of price on the web) between customers induced by web advertisements and customers who voluntarily search information.

In a case of supermarket, the survey experiment must be performed with keeping the sales of store. Thus, researchers cannot examine consumer behaviors on sales reduction in field experiment. We apply a virtual reality headset with eye-tracking to collect data. This device can observe participant's eye movements and position in a virtual space. In this paper, the availability of our proposition for a survey experiment is discussed by constructing a prototype system for data collection.

Since image annotation work in image classification is expensive, the number of labeled images is small compared to the number of unlabeled images. In this paper, we propose a new unsupervised learning ASL (auto-similarity learning) in order to effectively use large amounts of unlabeled images. ASL learns image similarity between real image and masked image by generating multiple masked images in which some pixels are replaced with random numbers from pixel values of real image. By simultaneously executing ASL and ‘supervised learning using labeled image', we construct semi - supervised learning which realizes a neural network with high generalization.

This is caused by the "derivative species" made from the OS, applications, etc., which are complementary products running on platform products in the tow-sided platform strategy in the software industry. Then, the paper exemplifies the case and confirms the relationship between the development motivation of the developer who produces the complementary product and the diversity of the platform product. Finally, the paper derives platform strategy implications for platformers (platform providers).
