New business models that exploit the characteristics of information goods are rapidly growing worldwide, such as Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon. Although the importance of "information goods" as production factors has been pointed out as a cause of this, despite not distinguishing information goods from production of medium substance goods, "information goods" It seems to be due to the fact that almost cost-revenue model considering features such as non-rivalness is hardly observed. Therefore, in this paper, we define ICP(Information Creative Product) that produces information goods and the mass production method found in conventional manufacturing industry as ITP(Information Transcribing Product) consider the model analysis.

Business model canvas is used worldwide for understanding and designing business models. However, systematic simulation approach to analyze or construct business models is rarely proposed yet.
Sometimes, business model success in one country can not be replicated in another country. We would like to explore the reason and the causal relationship of each element in business model canvas.
We think that the general systematic model describing business model should be AI-based, because the relationship between each element in business model is very complicated.

Food delivery market is expanding due to advancement of society of women, coming of an aging society, etc. Food delivery is a business characterized by quick response delivery. Especially, since the peak times of orders overlap, control of demand and delivery ability greatly affects revenue. In this research, we consider the delivery model for leveling demand and improving delivery efficiency in the quick response delivery business. Specifically, we present a framework of a "hybrid type logistics" model incorporating "pull type" delivering according to orders and "push type" of route delivery.
Finally, we indicate it is necessary both logistics data and marketing data to realize it.

It is well known that network externality plays an important role in the growth of many Web services such as SNS. In this kind of market, it has been said that service providing firms must keep initial investment for a while until the market grows.
We studied the growth curve under network externality based on the Ising model. In particular, we investigated the relation between the phase transition and the startup of a service. It was found that the growth curve loses nonlinearity if the system is close to the phase transition but the system still maintains many features of network externality such as the fixed share in the market.

The aim of this study is to reveal the trends and disincentives of data utilization in enterprises. In the society where digitalization progresses more and more, utilizing Artificial Intelligence(AI), IoT(Internet of Things)and Robotics will become even more important.
As various IT solutions are beginning to spread through manufacturing and service industries, the digitization of business processes is accelerated.
However, due to several factors to interfere their activities, especially small-to-medium-sized enterprises can be caught in “Trough of Disillusionment". To test this hypothesis, I first performed questionnaire surveys in 2015, 2016 and 2018, proving the trend of digitalization like data utilization by enterprises.
Second, I executed attitude surveys of their outcomes.

This research explores which mode of thinking (e.g., verbalization, internal image representation, perspective-taking of others) is used, and improve the performance (e.g., cooperate achievement, novelty, users' reputation) among engineer, business planner and creator collected by the online questionnaire survey (n=800) on eight stages of the creative process (Sawyer, 2012). As the result, we found the large difference among the thinking modes of each occupation and stage of the creative process. The modes that the respondents of each occupation on each stage do not use often improve the performance significantly. For example, the engineers who take user-perspective improve the performance, although they rarely do it in the reality.

Palatability is a comprehensive evaluation of various sensations such as sight, touch, taste, smell. Among them, visual acuity plays a special role. “Sight gives birth to the first taste." However, there are few researches up to now that have paid attention to palatability of food. In this study, we intend to build a palatability model based on outward appearance impression of box-lunches. Applying this palatability model, we will investigate what is the difference in the impression that make much feeling of palatability when the feeling target is Japanese-style or Western-style box-lunches. We also analysis the process that color gives a meaningful influence to this impression.

Organizational leaders want their businesses to run on data-driven decisions by deploying big data analytics (BDA); however, many firms are facing obstacles to widespread BDA because of data silos, the rigid separation of data across divisions. To overcome data silos and capture the full potential of big data, it is necessary to create a corporate culture that encourages communication and sharing of data across departments. To our knowledge, BDA literature has not investigated a suitable corporate culture in big data context. Hence, this study attempts to empirically identify the impact of an appropriate corporate culture on BDA deployment by introducing BDA orientation which potentially facilitates data flow across divisions and values business decisions based on insights gained from BDA.

In retail and service industries, it is strategically important to identify a customer segment whose lifetime value (LTV) is higher, and to continue trading with them. However, it is not so easy because it is difficult to identify factors that are important to continue trading. In this study, we identify a customer segment that has higher LTV using ID-POS data of a hair salon chain, and find the factors to continue trading with them using a classification approach. We propose an ensemble algorithm consisting of multiple stages using several white box classification algorithms. From computational experiments using the data, we show that our results outperform our previous results.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has evolved day by day, and large companies incorporate into their business such technology in consideration of cost-benefit. Leading companies in each industry can get technical information preferentially from vendors. However, even if it is a large company, it is difficult to get the fresh information quickly when they are not intimate with the vendor or when the rank in the industry is low. Besides it seems to be difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to get these information timely. In today's business environment, the ICT utilization is essential so that SMEs survive. I consider what roles are necessary to solve this existing problem between large enterprises and SMEs.

The Internet advertising expenditure in Japan exceeds 1 trillion yen, and it is indispensable in marketing. Among them, "brand advertisement" like TV commercials has increased due to expansion of advertisement usage for branding purpose (= video advertisement and premium advertisement). While the internet advertisement can be optimized in real time during the campaign period watching the trend of evaluation indicators, they couldn't have been made use of it since the evaluation index of "brand advertisement" that can be measured only by survey research can't be measured in real time. Based on these backgrounds, we developed a research service that can measure the evaluation index of "brand advertisement" at near real time. In this paper, we introduce examples of services.

Analysis of ID-POS data has been used to support decision making such as sales promotion and product arrangement. However, it is difficult to grasp extent of customer's interest about products that were not purchased, and to identify that it is planned purchase or not. So we need to use in-store customer journey data to reveal that. In this paper, we propose an in-store journey simulation model, and carry out the simulation using actual in-store customer journey data acquired by using the Bluetooth beacons. From several computational experiments, we show that our model reproduces in-store customer journey, and evaluate our model from the view point of difference between our results and actual data.

The game application market has grown rapidly with the spread of smartphones. Main sources of income for game applications are users' payment and online advertising. In this study, we focus on the former, which has been said to be difficult to predict earnings. We create a multi-agent model including players' behavior and their interactions to clarify the mechanism of revenue in the game application market. Considering that the difference in play-style affects payment behavior, we assume 4 types of players in this model. As a result of simulations, it is observed that a decrease in non-paying players triggers the payment of paying players, and an increase in non-paying players suppresses the payment of paying players.

Conventional consumption functions are obtained by solving the condition that the Cobb-Douglas utility function is maximized under the budget constraint equation. Nakazawa (2014) constructed a model in which the consumption in the utility function is replaced by its ratio or difference to the reference point. This paper draws, using numerical calculation software, the surface of the utility function with two reference points, which were constructed in Kazama and Kitamura (2018) and cannot be algebraically solved, and confirms its prospect-theoretical properties. Also, for cases with one and two reference points, time variations of optimum consumption in two persons and two goods are numerically calculated. By comparing the two cases, we clarify the features of the utility function with two reference points.

Recently, the importance of sleeping habits is pointed out as we live healthily with both mind and body. However, Japanese sleeping habits have a short sleeping time and bedtime is slow. Especially as sleep gradually declines after entering school, it tends to become irregular, which has a problem that it adversely affects student life. Generally, young people often evaluate optimistically for sleeping, so we suppose that it is important for subsequent university life to acquire correct knowledge about sleep quality and to promote sleep habit at early time of admission. In this research, we propose a feedback system which strengthens habitual sleeping with the aim of transitioning from indifference stage to interesting stage in behavior change stage model.

Globalization of market and production promote investments in overseas locations. In case of Japanese auto-related industries, joint capital investments are selected. This study demonstrates the influence of overseas locations' strategic roles in their investment network positions. First, we create the investment network between investment firms and overseas locations. Second, we conduct a multivariate analysis using indexes of network positions, the financial data of investment firms, and the purpose of investments. The analysis reveals that the influence of overseas locations' strategic roles in investment network positions has both positive and negative effects. The findings give us deep insights on how important it is for auto-related manufacturing companies to set up intelligent investment portfolio for their foreign advance.

Sharp, which fell into a serious business crisis, received a proposal for support from Hon Hai Precision Industry of Taiwan and the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan. In March 2016, Sharp finally decided to receive Hon Hai support and Hon Hai took over Sharp. During the acquisition negotiations, Hon Hai pressed Sharp's main bank for waiver of additional credits. In this paper, the above situation is modeled using a framework called the Graph Model for Conflict Resolution (GMCR). Equilibria based on the four solution concepts of Nash stability, general meta-rationality, symmetric meta-rationality, sequential stability are obtained by calculation program. We compare the obtained equilibria with the result of reality and examine it.

Fashion is a social phenomenon which revolves around imitation and diffusion and applies to all domains of social life, though most of the research is on garments. In the information society, an enterprise has to adopt the trait and mechanism of such fashion itself and its spread into marketing strategy. Thus, we have discussed a marketing methodology for trendsetting in the information age based on consumer behavior, social psychology, informatics, infosocionomics, and media studies.

Because the market risk of an investment depends on its risk factors, the assumption about the behavior of risk factors affects the market risk measurement. It is generally assumed that the profit rate of a risk factor follows the normal distribution, but it is also well known that this assumption is not supported by the facts in the past in many cases. How to find an assumption about the distribution of an risk factor which fit pass factors is an important issue for the estimation of market risk. This study will propose a method to find such a distribution by using the g-h distribution, and estimate the market risk of an investment using the distribution obtained.
