The author's educational field is situated on the difficult conditions of the teaching high school physics, such as poor experimental equipments and girl students belong to a commercial course who show little interest in natural sciences. Under the severe conditions as mentioned above, the purpose of this study is to find the teaching strategy effective to realize the fruitful instructions, of which contents can be understood as easily as possible by many students, and which can cultivate possibly the motivation of learning for many students. For this purpose, "works" which means one of the teaching type, and has the intermediate concept between "lecture" and "student's experiment" was introduced to the daily instructions, and carried out for about half year. As results, "works" showed higher subjective understanding of instructional contents and higher satisfaction to instruction itself, in comparison with other teaching type. Then, "works" was evaluated as a useful teaching type of instruction under the limited conditions like this. The analysis procedure of instructional evaluation in this paper is composed of the questionnaire survays conducted by students on daily instructions, transformation of ordinal scale to distance scale and item factor analysis by use of quantification theory. These analysis methods seemed to be effective in the evaluation of the daily instructions as the means of experimental instructional study at the actual educational field.

A CAI macro-statement COPY designed for the purpose of simplifying the description of CAI program is added in the conversation type language of the computer system OKITAC-4500. The CAI sourse programs containing the COPY statements are compiled into normal CAI course programs by the utility routine GENERATOR. A CAI program library is made to utilize the function of this routine. The CAI programs used at eight institutions are referred for preparing the library programs. Each program is divided into four elements, namely, (1) flow for the presentation of the instructional materials, (2) flow for the processing after incorrect answers, (3) flow for the initialization of numerical values and so on, (4) data statements. The constituents of the CAI programs are registered in the magnetic disk memory as library blocks of the first level. The blocks of the higher level containing the COPY statements are also registered. The blocks are classified according to their flow-pattern structure. A manual of the library is prepared. The function of the GENERATOR is explained. Some examples of the library blocks are illustrated.
