The suction tool was applied to the electrochemical machining due to the characteristics of its restrained electrolyte flow. In this paper, a new suction tool with built-in auxiliary anode is designed and applied to electrochemical machining. Since the function of the built-in auxiliary anode is to further constrain the electric field and lead to a narrower current area in the inter-electrode gap in addition to the constrained electrolyte flow, higher machining precision can be achieved. Based on the tool structure, the numerical simulation of electric field is carried out to show the effectiveness of the new tool. The machining characteristics of the new tool are also experimentally investigated.

Kanto Polytechnic College has educated and trained many students, producing quality technologists to local industries. We are going to continue to play an important part in educating, developing and training abilities of future technologists who can take a role as ″Monozukuri″ according to needs of time. Taking the basic drilling for instance in our machine processing, I report the effect obtained in practice about ″future Monozukuri education″ which is hard to learn at the general colleges.

Through practicing it was tried whether the sensitivity of the technician it isn't possible to miss in manufacturing could be brought up by education. The sensitivity could be brewed by experiencing a processing training, and I found out that the act on which I work aggressively is necessary for a training of manufacturing to bring the sensitivity up.

For nurturing the children who represent the next generation, much more fulfillment of environmental education including the energy problems is demanded. Especially, it is necessary for junior high school students to get interested in the natural energy through environmental education. This study dealt with the wind power generation as the natural energy. The effectiveness of the experiment-teaching materials of the wind power generation and the possibility of improving their awareness of the natural energy were investigated by using the sail wing type windmill. As a result, it was clear that the junior high school students not only become interested in the natural energy but also tend to consider its necessity for our life actually.
