(I)At present time an electrocardiogram is necessary to diagnose of heart diseases. But it is difficult to diagnose exactly myocardial lesions with such method. Dr. prof. Maekawa, who studied the problem of the organaffinity in the allergic inflammation in recent years, paid attention to Lehmann-Facius's reaction for cancer diagnosis, according to this reaction I attempted to the following experiment in heart diseases. I observed that the precipitin reaction between the myocardial phosphaitde, which was extracted from a human myocard by alcohol, benzol, aceton and petrolethor, and the euglobulin of patient's sera.

(II)I compared the results by this myocardial phosphatide reaction (CPR) with them by the electrocardiogram (EGG). 663men were subjected to this examination. In them the men with myocardial lesions by ECG, namely who had to give the positive reation by CPR, had 27 CPR negative cases. On the other hand the men, who had to give the negative reation, had 58 CPR positive cases. In 548 cases (namely 86%) the results by CPR coincided with them by ECG. In the diagnosis of the myocardial lesions, CPR was more keener than ECG.

The cardiotonic effects of digicorin (digicor), digitoxin, gitoxin and digitalis leaves were comparatively studied in fortjr patients with congestive heart failure, whom one large single dose of each drug amounting to 1〜5mg. (2〜5gm.), 1〜1.5mg., 2〜5mg. and 1〜1.5gm. respectively were administered orally. In .this study seventy observations were made, wherein the heart rate, pulse deficit if present, respiration rate, blood pressure, circulation time and urine volume were followed besides the changes of cardiac symptoms. The side reactions were also observed. Depending upon the results obtained, the following conclusions were induced. 1. Digitoxin is the most akin to digitalis leaves in the mode of its action and the strength of its effects. 2. Digicorin or Digicor is less effective as Compared with digitoxin, but action of the former is more rapid and the side effects are far less. 3. The cardiotonic effects of gitoxin is the poorest.

In the rabbits injected intra- (sub-) cutaneously every other day with the antirabbit-kidney-duck-serum, the II-reactions of the II and Ill-injections appear at the sarnetime with the II-reaction of the I-injectiou, 2. In the rabbits which have entirely passed the II-reaction of the I-injection, the reaction of the II-injection appears mononiophically as well as the reaction after the II-injection in the rabbits sensitized previously with the normal duck-serum. From these facts, I conclude that the rest of the antirab-bit-kidney-duck-serum which did not depend on the contradictory anaphylactic reaction in the injected place is resolved and the antibody for the duck-serum in that serum becomes in whole body.

The clinical Observations of the Second Experiment. Sensitizing rabbits by the intravenous and intratesticular inoculation of tubercle bacilli with the rabbit-heart-muscle-phosphatide, I injected the same again 9 weeks after I found the tubercle interdermal reaction proved positve even it diluted to 10^<-9>. The clinical observations are as follows: 1) Body temperature, body weight, blood pressure and blood picture gave me almost the same results as the first experiment, though rather weak. 2) In electrocardiogram, after the second injection, T_2 showed conspicuous elevated and T_2, T_3 showed declined or inverted, therefore this experiment made me suppose the existence of severe myocardial demage.

The author calculated the vector (θR&φA) of the electric charge of Mitral-P by the standard EKG, by means of Maekawa's orthogonal isosceles triangle coordinates. In this case the directions are Inclined to left as a whole, but their rotations are less than the healthy men: this fact seems to mean that the right auricle rotated to left owing to the enlargement of the left auricle. Abut φA they have not so much difference with the healthy men, and their continuous time is longer than the healthy men. These are caused as follows, the time of stirnulous transmission in the pathologic left auricle is longer, than the healthy one, therefore the double time of stimulous transmission of the left auricle becomes later. Then the author agrees with Takayasu's proposal that such P-wave should be called as "Left Auricular Predominance"
