(I) Re Influence of Valsalva's Pressure Experiment on Skin Capillaries. The study was made on the effect of Valsalva's Pressure on capillaries relative to blood pressure and pulse rate, on 38 persons (healthy and sick people). Examination of capillaries was carried out with Karl Zeiss's Capillary Microscop on nail edge of ring finger of left hand. The results showed : 1) The capillaries generally became expanded and elongated. 2) The number os visible capillaries increased. 3) The blood circulation in the capillaries became more rapid. 4) Strengthening of blood-filling in capillary loops and subpapillar venule plexus, and in their base color tone was noted. 5) The pulse rate showed increase of over 5 beats per minute in 50%, normal in 34.2% and decrease of over 5 beats per minute in 15.8%. 6) The blood pressure was noted as showing upward trend of over 9mmHg. in 42.1%, normal in 36.8% and downward trend of over 9mmHg. in 21.6%. 7) It seems difficult to consider that pulse rate, blood pressure, changes in capillaries, by application of Valsalalva's pressure, are consonant.

(II) Re Influence of Carotid-sinus Pressure Test on Skin Capillaries. The study was made to test the influence of carotidsinus pressure to determine the effect on the pulse rate, blood pressure and capillaries. Experiments were made on 35 persons, sick and healthy included. The following data was obtained : 1) 77.1% showed decrease of pulse rate by 10 or more beats per minute ; 77.1% showed lowering of blood perssure by 5 or more mmHg. on application of the pressure. In most cases, heart reflex and blood-vessel reflex occurred analogically and simultaneously. 2) In majority of cases, capillaries were slightly extended and elongated, the number of visible capillaries increased and the blood circulation was somewhat hastened by the application of carotidsinus pressure : In minority of cases, though, there were seen some who showed slowing of blood flow or no change. The blood filling of capillary loops and subpapillar venule plexus increased, and base color tone generally was deepened. 3) It is hardly possible to say that the changes in capillaries by application of the carotdsinus pressure were more prominently noticeable in cases of arterio-sclerotics hypertensives and/or angio-neurotics who had marked biood pressure descent.

(I) Introduction As the phosphatide of the myocardium has an affinity to the myocardium, I expected that when rabbits were sensitized by the tubercle bacilli with that phosphatide, the bacilli would adhere to the myocardium to produce an allergic myocarditis. This experiment would inquire into the tuberculosis-theory of rheumatism.

(II) The clinical observations of the first Experiment. Sensitizing rabbits by the intravenous injection of the tubercle bacilli with the rabbit-heart-muscle-phosphatide, I injected the same after three weeks and got the following results : 1) Urobilinogen reaction in urine was weak positive for a little while. 2) Body weight, body temperature, blood pressure and blood picture etc. showed a little change. 3) Electrocardiogram of the experimental animals schowed remarkable changes compared with that of the contrasts. This fact suggested me the existence of the myocardial change.

In the rabbits sensitized with the normal duck-serum by the intra-(sub-) cutaneous injection, the histological views of the cutaneous tissue are allergic when the anti-rabbit-kidney-duck-serum is injected in-tra-(sub-) cutaneously and following : 1. after 24 hours, these phenomenon (much oedema, and cell-infiltration, that is many pseudoeosinophiles and a few round cells, fibrobrasts, histiocytes in stratum papillar eand reticulare, full blood-vessels, hemorrhage, increase of adventitia cells of small arterial wall and hyaline degeneration of endothelial cells) are clearly seen. 2. after 14 days, cell infiltration (many round cells, fibrobrasts and a few pesudoeosinophiles) around the small arterial wall and proliferation of adventitia cells are clearly seen.

When nephrotoxin is injected into a one side of the renal artery of the rabbits, changes appear in urine soon after the injection during 1-2 days, and changes begin to appear again remarkably from about one week later with rising of the blood pressure. Therfore the changes in urine occur biphasically. When nehrotoxin is let to work abundantly on the kidney, the antibody in the nophrotoxin works on it abundantly, causes the anti-anaphylaxis at once and shows the changes in urine. In the case of the Masugi-nephritis of the rabbits into which nephrotoxin is injected intravenously, small amount of antibody cannot occur remarkably enough to show changes in urine. The conclusion is, according to the authors opinion, that in the case of the Masugi-nephritis no changes in urine appear during the period of the incubation.

(III) The histological changes of Kidney were not so diffuse, but 1 found in experimental rabbits edema, dilatation, increase of nuclei and decrease of leucocytes in glomeruli, exsudation of hyaline substance into Bowman's capsular space, small round cell infiltration surrounding vasa afferens and glomeruli. Some of the interlobular arteries showed the swelling and proliferation of endothelial cells to obliterate almost those lumen and strong perivascular infiltration of small round cells. In control rabbits any change was not observerd. With respect to the heart, an interstitial infiltration of cells, especially plasma cells was observed principally in right ventricles and moreover perivasculitis of arterioles.

(IV) Rabbits were sentitized with the mixture of rabbit-kidney-phosphatide and fresh oxen sera and then long lived animals showed reasonable hypertension. This hypertension probably depends upon the same mechanism as the Goldblatt's hypertension, becase there are changes of renal arterioles, with cause a decrease of blood flow in glomeruli. The heart shows the ecg. and histological changes, whereas the Kindney-Phosphatide probably has an affinity to the heart and a cross-reaction with the heart-phosphatide.

The author measured the resorption time of the intradermally injected eosine solution (0.00002%) quantiatively by electric photometer. The results, areas follows 1) The more edema, the resoption is acceralated. 2) The resorption time of eosime solueion is not so remarkably acceralated as that of the salt solution only. 3) When edema is decreasing, both of the resoption time is inclined to prolong to the nomal time.
