Influence of the collapse therapy for the pulmonary tuberculosis, upon the electrocardiogram. I) Through electrocardiograms of the patients treated with Semb's thoracoplasty, it is able to know that i) The influence of the operation on the right side is larger than on the left. ii) In the cases of the operation on the right side, the predominance of the right ventricle is greater and in about half cases it dacreases day after day, but in another half cases it remains for ever. In the cases of the operation on the left side, these relations are not demonstrable and after 1-2 weeks it is restored almost to the condition before operation. iii) P-wave changes amost in all cases after operation, namely, absence or negativity of P-wave, pathological prolongation, or pulmonary Pappear, but they are restored wilhin about 2 weeks. and iv) T wave becomes lower after operation and sometimes both the absence of T, as well as T_2 and coronary T are shown. And there is little recovery of these abnormalities in the cases of the operation on the right side. In somo cases the abnormality of the S-T interval is shown, but it is restored within abaut 1 month. II) Electrocardiogram of the patient treated with phmiicoexairesis indicates the cardiac displacement. The right phrenico-exairesis causes the right cardiac rotation with the right displacement and the left the left, rotation with the left displacement.

The author calculated the angle (θR) between the direction of the electric charge that a heart had when it was on the top of BIT, and the line drawn between the right hand and left foot lead point, from the standard EKG investigated by 143 healthy men, by means of the orthogonal isosceles triangle coodinates. In case of normal cardiac position θR is limited from + 30° to - 40°, in case of the standing is larger, and the lying heart is smaller than the above limit. There is any concern between θR and Schlcmka's type-index, or between θR and the classification of Herrmann & Wilson : however there are few exceptions in case of later. The author considers θR is better than S's typeindex or the classification of H. & W., because they are calculated or classified by the consideration of the Q or S-wave, but disregarded the cardiac position-type. The author proposes that he would like to call these hearts that θR is larger than + 30° as "Standing", and is smaller than - 40° as "Lying", also in case of θR is limited from + 30° to - 40° is called as "Normal".

The author calculated the vector (θR & φ_A) of the electric charge of 42 mens' heart with L. or R. V. P from the standard EKG when it was on the top of R_<II> and S_<III> or S_I, by means of the orthogonal isosceles triangle coordinates. The direction of the electric axis when it shows the top of S_<III> or S_I, turned more than 50° to the left or right from the top of R_<II>, and φ_A of the former is larger than 30% of φ_A in the case of R_<II>. This seems to mean that in such a heart the time of the stiinulous conduction in one ventricle needs more time than the other. These are not concern with Schlcmka's type-index, or classification of Herrman & Wilson. The author would like to call these EKG as ventricular predominant type which the direction of the electric charge turns to the left or right side more than 50° when the top of R_<II> turns to the top of S_<III> or S_I, and former φ_A is larger than 30% of the later.

Mono- and polyphasic e. c. g. were recorded by unipolar lead on the same point of frog's heart. These curves coincide with theoretical curves which are traced by equation (3) & (12). In the initial complexes of these 2 kinds of curves, phase difference is found. Namely, the time when monophasic e. c. g, become maximal value (q-deflection), coincide with the time when polyphasic e. c. g. pass the zero line. Experimental results, above mentioned, is concluded as follow. Action current of excitable tissue itself is represented as nionophasic, but by rnembran impedance it is deformed to polyphasic. This is the view of " Theory of chaine-doublet" (Maekawa).

The author measured the absorption time of the intradermaUy injected eosine solution in 39 patients with anemia by electric photometer. The results are as follows. 1) The absorption time of salt solution is slightly accelerated. 2) The rate of absorption of the cosine solution is much higher than that of salt solution. 3) The both time are prolonged to the normal time as anemia is cured.

When young, little rabbits are injected intravenously with a large amount of nephrotoxin (10c,c/per 1kg), changes appear in urine soon after the injection and continue 4-5 days till their deaths. By the histological investigation, the changes of the kidney of a rabbit which died 6 hours after injection were found to have bean caused by glomerulonephritis. But when young, little rabbit, are injected intravenously with a. large amount of the normal duck serum, no changes appear in urine. According to the author's opinion, when a large amount of antibody in nephrotoxin is worked upon the kidney, antianaphylaxis occurs evidently at once and then changes in urine appear.

Es sind die Hohe und Zeitbifferenz der einzelnen Zacke oder jeden Zeiipunkt derTachograDam zwischen den beiden Korperlage, besonders die der B-Zacke, die der Differentialkurve des aufsteigeiiden Schenkels des ZwischenseMages naeh v Knis des Radialdruekpuls entspricht, genauerer beschreiben. Von diesen Ergebnisse sucht der Verfasser, im Zusammenhang nait den in der vorherigen Mitteilurigen, nach die Bedeutung der Pulsformveranderungen, bei denen es sich. hauptsachlich um die arteriosklerotiscbe Veranderung des betreffenden Afteriensystenas handelt.
