Two workers having claimed Raynaud's Phenomenon after several years' work with drifters, were observed daily during the periods from September 1962 to January 1963 and from October 1963 to February 1964. The highest and the lowest temperatures recorded every day were analyzed in connection with the white finger attacks. In autumn, successive decreases of the ambient temperatures were followed by the appearance of white finger attacks and the elevation of temperatures was frequently accompanied by a decrease in the occurrence of the attacks. The critical temperature, especially the lowest, relative to the appearance of attacks was observed to be around 15°C. The lower the ambient temperatures were, the higher the incidence of attacks. The maximum incidence rate was about 80%.
