ジャーナル フリーThe purpose of this study was to provide a suggestive perspective in understanding education to sport ethics well. By analysing the morally wrong situations in which student-athletes have actually percieved at their games, it was found that the situations were divided into the two different types of them. One type was a behavior to break a set of formal rules in particular game and another type was one to conflict with the ethos of game.
With reference to D'Agostino's theory, we examined an ideal game by spliting a game into four phases: that is (1) permissible and acceptable, (2) permissible but unacceptable, (3) impermissible but acceptable and (4) impermissible and unacceptable.
As Fraleigh indicated, sport in education must not be simply a reiteration of sport in society, but be sport which is better than sport in society. Thus, it was concluded that we should intend to increase permissible and acceptable phrase in a game and to educate the good ethos of the parties in sport.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (1268K) -

ジャーナル フリーIn this paper was discussed the methodology of the research on instructional physical education. Before examining the methodology, it was discussed what the characteristics and the research fields of sport pedagogy were. The sub-fields of sport pedagogy were divided into three; 1) empirical study to analyze instructional physical education, 2) theoretical study to design the physical education instruction, 3) basic research to produce the theory of physical education instruction.
Empirical study on physical education instruction has being done with the various systematic observation instrumentations. International trends of the empirical research were surveyed especially through examining the researches on teacher and student behaviors in physical education classes with the systematic observation instrumentations.

ジャーナル フリーMany people emphasize the significance of sport. Sport has different kinds of participations in itself. Some participate in sport at higher level, just like the Olympic Games or other world championships, others do at relatively lower level to improve their physical fitness or quality of life. These facts are the most important aspects in sport. In addition, it should never be forgettable that sport as education for elementary school children or junior high school students is also of great importance.
The purpose of the study was to examine the present state of sport for them, especially focusing on sport clubs in Tsukuba for elementary school children and extracurricular activities for junior high school students.
Main findings were as follows;
1) The staffs in the clubs were eager to instruct elementary school children. They were all volunteers and most of them were graduate students.
2) In the clubs, the staffs were faced with some problems, such as shortage of ground, quality of staff, scheduling practices and so on.
3) While extracurricular activities were of great significance for junior high school students to form their own personalities, it was indicated that a few problems have arisen, such as an overtaining or a drop out.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (1199K) -

ジャーナル フリーIt is said that sports for the handicapped have started to flourish in Japan recent years. However, it is hard to say that most of the handicapped routinely participate in sporting activities.
To increase interest and participation in handicapped sports, the following steps should be taken.
1. We should provide areas for sporting activities. We must place instructors and volunteers there for the handicapped.
2. We need to increase the number of handicapped athletes who take part in recreational sports as well as competitive events.
3. We must realize national system for training instructors who specialize in asking the handicapped. We need to increase the number of instructors and to systematize the content and method of instruction.

Howerer, in recent years with the growth of interest in sports activities there has come a demand for the dependable provision of easily available facilities and high quality service. In order to achieve these goals, the need for the development of management system sports industry has also been emphasized. Thus, there are many problems which still need to be studied and solved in the sports industry.
This workshop, based on the above understanding, will study the future of the sports industry and its management through discussion of the following issues.
1. Idea and present state of sports industry.
2. Sports industry and its favorable circumstances.
