The finite element method is applied to the calculation of the magnetic field in an arbitrary space. It is ascertained by applying the method to analytically solvable problems that the accuracy of the calculation is the better, the smaller the elements are. The method is applied to the calculations of leakage fluk from the double T iron core of the Tokamak-like apparatus with changing the permeability of the core, the cross section of yokes, and the gaps or butt joints.
