in the area of east and west about 6km and north and south about 10km of Nawalparasi county Parasi of the terai lowland, the investigation on the arsenic of the well water was carried out in September, 2009. the results are as follows. (1) The arsenic concentration in rainy season decreased in about 1/3 in the dry season. As the factor, the dilution by the precipitation in the rainy season is considered. (2) In the rainy season, reduced state of underground and in the groundwater was intensified. The value of ORP of the well water in the dry season is from -130 to +142mv. However, this value in the rainy season greatly decreased from -170.8 to +3mv. (3) As well as March, 2008, the negative correlation between arsenic concentration and ORP was obtained. (4) In the site of west about 2km of the investigation area, the result of the boring exploration to the 80m depth was obtained. This with it, the arsenic concentration of the 20m depth was 195ppb, and it was the highest value. However, the arsenic concentration of the 40m depth is 12ppb, it extremely lowered. From this fact, the concentration distribution of the similarity was confirmed in this site and investigation region.
