Canon has developed macro lens for RF mounting. The optical design of this macro lens has been completely redesigned, macro photography with a maximum magnification of 1.4 times and “SA control ring” which can freely change the blur description enable various expressions. This paper describes the features and technical details of the development of this macro lens.
We will introduce the development of our zoom lens, Model A058, which has a unique focal length range from semiwide angle 35 mm to telephoto 150 mm. The idea was to have an ideal lens for portrait photography with a maximum aperture of F2 at the wide end, which is one step faster than typical fast-aperture zoom lenses with an F2.8.
OM Digital Solutions has released the compact, high-performance, high-magnification PRO lenses “M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8-25 mm F4.0 PRO” and “M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150 mm F4.0 PRO”. This lens is the first in the PRO series lens to be equipped with a retractable mechanism, achieving further miniaturization and dustproof・splashproof performance of IP53, and improving mobility. The features of this lens and the newly developed retractable mechanism technology will be explained.
