Selective Laser Sintering is one of the processes of Rapid Prototyping. In injection mold, cooling process is one factor that influences the formability of formed parts. Temperature distributions on the surface of injection mold are dependent upon the layout of cooling channels. Deformations are occured by the effect of non-uniform temperature distributions.
A new machining method for single crystal diamonds has been investigated in order to obtain three-dimensional shapes of diamond. This method utilizes tool wear phenomenon of diamond during the cutting process of carbon steel. A three-dimensional shape of diamond has been successfully obtained by this machining method. This study concerned with this machining process.
This paper will focus on the MEMS (Microelectro mechanical Systems) clutch design, which operation torque is depends on electrical power control the curve arch clamp thermal deformation, not only to get the constant torque as an overload release clutch to prevent the damage but also can following the exterior driving force or fluid pressure input variance be allowed adjust the torque margin to achieve the miscellaneous requirements. In this study, a variable torque clutches design method is proposed and the validity by surface micromachining process.
