In Japan’s cybersecurity strategy, development and assurance of cybersecurity human resource is positioned as one of the cross-cutting approaches, so teaching materials for beginners need to be developed. However, the current materials on digital forensics are not suitable for beginners. Therefore, we need teaching materials that allow beginners to learn digital forensics quickly. In this study, we conducted lessons using teaching materials and evaluated them using a questionnaire survey and correct answer rate of the exercise part included in the teaching materials. Although we could motivate the beginners to learn, their percentage of correct answers was low. The teaching materials will need to be reviewed to increase the percentage of correct answers.
