SAMSUNG group has unique culture compared with typical Japanese companies, for instance, rank of talent, training system of country specialist, education process in SAMSUNG and so on. And the latest facility and R&D investment is so active for Li-ion battery, Solar Cell, LED, Bio medical and Healthcare. Many technologies have been developed and deployed for both short term and long term in pursuant to achieving a clean and sustainable society. Here we shall review the real useful technologies for sustainable society. One of the most critical agenda of the world is to secure sustainable energy securing for the increasing population which is projected to become 9.2 billion people by 2050. For energy storage technology, the best candidates is Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries in comparison with other battery systems for applications such as mobile devices, power tools, advanced new energy vehicles and large scale energy storage systems. The progress of Li-ion battery technology has been realized step by step for the several demands and applications. Further evolution of Li-ion battery will be achieved for each application demand such as Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), Electric Vehicle (EV) and power storage with large scale. Main issues be solved out are safety issues and cost reduction as well as performance increase. While the power generation offers an important lifeline, the existing systems such as nuclear power or thermal power have some limitations due to safety issues or CO_2 emission. Currently, the renewable technologies like solar power or wind power generation are being applied, but these technologies also have also limitations due to the insufficient power efficiency. Therefore, the total combined system should include Fuel Cell (FC) power systems. SOFC will be one of candidates for this purpose from the cost and performance competitiveness points of view. And then, company culture, disadvantages and advantages in industry will have some influences on the international competitiveness in the world, so it is necessary to analyze and recognize those factors each other.

Green innovation and social infrastructure business captures attentions globally. A variety of cross boarder types of collaborations are recent topics among policy makers and industries. The introduction of "platform management" forms the uniqueness of P2M theory. Its intent is directed to standardization of effective design and operation of "field" for integration management. Trade off issues and conflict alignments rising in inter organizational collaboration are creative endeavors for solutions at the highest level of difficulty. As such, platform and service supports are essential functions which provide knowledge for communication covering humans, information, and cultures totally across organizations alliances. For example, deals of multiple standards would rise frequently in overseas engineering plant construction, and strategic decision making might face trade off problem in new product development. The background of its context and logics are exploited in cross disciplinary areas in management, engineering and social psychology for knowledge integration. The references are exhibited by theories in partnership strategies of competition and cooperation, network collaboration, concurrent engineering and mental model backed by cultures. The standardization is anticipated to spread of cross border communication in practice, and education.

Under increasing uncertainty, high performing enterprises appeals the uniqueness of new products timely in marketplace. The key is hidden by deliberate program lifecycle management. Its major function is the integration management of different lifecycles among R&D projects organized for product, process and business. The symbolic research cases are illustrated with essential implications by abduction approach to framework design and subsequent logical backgrounds of theory selections. Particularly, R&D strategy linked concurrent approach is critical for program benefits for sustainable and seamless innovation. The hybrid method of R&D and M&D (Marketing & Development) is newly detailed. The flexible decision makings by evaluation are encouraged under different level of uncertainty. For further progress of application LPS-lifecycle package structure could be explored for flexible option design supported by platform. P2M logical context is consistent to the trend of open innovation.

The essays and arguments on management strategy up to the time seem to mainly concern an individual firm and the domestic market, although that is not explicitly stated. But now, it is needless to say that almost of firms organize a group with several tens to hundreds of consolidated subsidiaries and tie-up firms to compete with others in the global market. Namely, it could be said that the strategy of the group of firms but not the firm itself is requested against the global market. Moreover, the speedy implementation is requested for the strategy and the group reorganization by M&A is requested to be an every day affair. Accordingly, the structure of management is changing from head office controlling to autonomous distributed controlling by regions. Therefore, the structure of global strategy is discussed with the managerial structure.

Although the average life of enterprise is said to be about thirty years, some companies are continuing to grow in the traditional business domain or the others are finding the way to grow in the new business domain. Anyhow, as far as they are manufacturing firms, the development of new products by R&D investments, i.e. product innovation, is considered to make important contribution to the growth continuation of the firms. Therefore, on a certain chemicals firm, in which the new domains are exceeded the traditional domains in the sales amount, the production function, in which the increment of ordinary profit is created by three inputs, capital investment, information system investment and labor & R&D expense, is applied in time series to compute the trajectory of innovation effects and the earning structures at its several peaks. Then, the computed results are examined from the viewpoints of the propriety of assessment model and the assessment result itself.

    1. Sales share of electronics products of Japanese companies such as digital TV, DVD, etc, have been reducing in global market. On the other hand, Korean companies, especially Sumsung Electronics Co.,Ltd. is expanding his share in world market. 2. P2M is developed as New Program Management which provide newly created value on business Investment for program owner. One of critical part of P2M is mission profiling on program integration management, in which planners look down and find problems of "As is", then look for "To be" in foresighted manner. OW model was developed as a tool for looking down enterprise competitiveness condition by 8 perspectives. 3. Sumsung improved his products competitiveness as follows. (1) developed local needs in emerging countries (Customer Relationship & Market Development in OW Model) (2) Fully adopted digital technology in product design and related data collection and knowledge management (Intellectual resources in OW model) (3) reduced excessive functions and added local needs from original Japanese products (knowledge management process improvement of Business Process Improvement in OW Model) 4. Japanese companies, on the contrary, provided their products in same specification in the world market. (without considering new market development)

In my previous reports, I mentioned that the source of the power behind industry-academia-government collaboration when launching innovations is the effective matching of needs and seeds. The first step toward matching these up effectively is the sharing of information regarding problems in collaboration between sectors. In relation, the described request sheet (otoiawase sheet) is a tool that can facility this type of information-sharing. This report describes the two-year project for the construction of an R&D information system by a private company. Subsequently, the project gave birth to the basic request sheet concept for the sharing of information regarding problems involving collaboration, following the P2M concept of the IAP2M.

The study of university spin-offs which aim for initial public offerings has been examined. Meanwhile, university spin-offs which try to mediate between universities and companies have recently attracted people's attention. We examined it from the point of P2M communication management. In this study, questionnaires were sent to manufactures and university spin-offs. The result of the inquiry made it clear that both of the manufactures and the spin-offs want to do their collaborative research. Also, the manufactures hope to buy products from spin-offs, and spin-offs want to sell their products to manufactures as well.

In these days, under a shortened term for developing series of new products, a corporation rather takes an attention to develop a product with a new value. However, even if the product is planed with an excellent concept, the product does not generate any significance as long as the concept is not reflected to the product. Additionally, there is a possibility that the shortened term for developing the product disregards the original concept. To solve such a problem, in this paper, the authors propose a method for understanding inconsistency in conducting a mission during a planning stage. By dividing a product concept into two parts (a plus part which contributes success in conducting a mission and a minus part which obstacles the success), causes and results relation between the plus part and the minus part in project phases is regarded as internal and external constraints.

Since a technician usually watches the work point while confirming his hand-tip's movement and the state of the tool and the equipment, it leads us to wonder if there exists the relationship between the gaze point movement of the technician and his skill proficiency. If the relationship is clarified, it would be effectively used in the skill education and the evaluation. In order to find out the relationship between the gaze point movement and the skill proficiency, in this research an eye camera and analysis software were used in the size measurement with a micrometer. The analysis of the gaze point movement was observed, and the relationship of the gaze point movement and the skill proficiency was discussed based on the experimental results. It was found out that the technician's gaze point movement relates with his skill proficiency. The conclusions of this research are useful in the skill training, the skill transfer and the evaluation of training results.
