We obtained the following results by psychological experiments on some phenomena on “The brightness of complementary color-pair figures”, which are estimated by the fact that the blue cone of retina in central fovea does not function.
(1) When a blue small circle is surrounded by yellow color, it can be observed bright as it shifts off the central vision.
(2) y is observed bright, while, b dark in chromatic spatial sine-wave (y-b) at high frequency.
(3) Chromatic sine-wave of complementary color-pair with a dominant wave-length of 527 nm (cyan) has minimum brightness-contrast produced in high frequency.
