The research on interleaving additive information into the micro-aperture of NTSC spectrum space is currently being done. The goal of this paper is to make a quantitative analysis of this aperture while the image moves.
We show one important result. The
S/N of the signal interpolated in the aperture is over 20 dB when the vertical and horizontal speed are within 0.21 line/frame and 0.32 pixel/frame, respectively, at a very low speed of about 10'/sec with a 4 H viewing distance. The obtained result is applied to the discussion of Y/C separation based on a frame memory comb-filter. As for the problem in moving scenes, we confirmed the importance of the intrafield Y/C separation.
