The puropose of this study is to clarify the policy network in sport industrial administration in Japan. We define a policy network as a cluster or complex of orgnizations connected to each other by resource dependencies. A policy network has four dimensions : membership(number of participants and type of interest), integration(frequency of interaction, continuity and consensus), resources(distribution of resources within network and within participating organizations) and power. Actors in sports industrial administration are as follows : the Service Industry Division of the Industrial Policy Bureau of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, the Regional Bureaus of International Trade and Industry, the Sports-for all Division of the Physical Education Bureau of the Ministry of Education, the Japan Sports Industries Federations, the Japan Society of Sports Industry, the Japan Keirin Association, the Center for Development of Power supply regions and so forth . In conclusion, the Ministry of International and Industry takes the leadership in this policy network.
