Previous studies reported orientation bias of slope failures triggered by the main shock of 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake (Mw7.0), and this study investigated the relation between crustal deformation direction and aspect of slope failures. In the northern area from Hihagu fault, Futagawa fault, and NE direction of the extended line, slope failures affected by eastern direction of crustal deformation were notably identified and slope failures occurred 1.6 times more in eastern component of slope aspect than in western component of slope aspect. In the southern area from the faults and the line, slope failures affected by western direction of crustal deformation were notably identified and slope failures occurred 2.1 times more in western component of slope aspect than in eastern component of slope aspect. Relation between crustal deformation direction and aspect of slope failures triggered by 2005 Northern Pakistan (Kashmir) Earthquake in the previous study, and this study also noted the same relation.

Nuclear power plant accident doesn't have any insurance and hazard map. In the cases of severe accident, governments would not have instantly informed the danger of accident to inhabitant. The author explores to describe the catasrophe of Ekumene based on counterfacuals.
Local government and researchers would have required to apply the SPEEDI to 1) preventive stable iodine administration,2) reverse estimation of fissile material emission quantity , and 3) simulation of the nuclear particles diffusion from the possible nuclear accident. It will be useful to adopt many counterfactual explanations to understand the catastrophe of Ekumene.
