4O: TR3S] was found to be prepared by the reaction of 2, 4-dimercapto-6-R-s-triazine and dithiodimorpholine under acidicmedia. TR3S shows an excellent efficient vulcanizing property for NBR and BR crosslinking, far exceeding than that of the related compounds as 2, 4-bis (4-morpholinyl dithio)-or 2, 4-bis (4-morpholinyl monothio)-6-R-s-triazine. The cross linking reactivity of TR3S accelerated by the addition of a conventional accelerator as CBS, MBTS or TMTM to give thiotriazine crosslinkages in the crosslinked product. The combination set (135°C×72h), 33.8% and of
TB, 13.6, 17.0 MPa;
EB, 518, 366% before and after aging 72h at 130°C, respectively.
