Recent theoretical research on chaotic phenomena in plasmas is outlined. After giving the basic knowledge to understand the theoretical framework, it is described that the current disruption in tokamaks is caused by chaos of magnetic field line due to coupling between two tearing modes. The equation for magnetic field line is proved to be equivalent to the Hamilton system, and some standard dynamical models are presented. Several basic physics for chaos in Hamilton system, last KAM, cantorus, intermittency, selfsimilarity and long-time tail, are briefly disccussed. We finally give some recent topics.
