In a non-uniform indoor environment, usually, temperature distribution is dependent on complex three-dimensional heat transfer. Therefore, the reference temperature of the air near the wall for heat transfer calculations or the sensing temperature for air-conditioning control will significantly differ according to the position of the reference temperature. Thus, the network model that assumes perfect mixing and does not consider the temperature distribution is considered to be improper for evaluating a non-uniform indoor environment, and it may have a large adverse effect on the energy simulation result. Therefore, it is necessary to couple a network model and CFD simulation. In our previous study, we developed a calculation method that can achieve more accurate time-series analysis of changes in exhaust temperature, etc., by combining with the conventional calculation methods and factoring in the three-dimensional thermal distribution within a room. In this study, we focus on energy simulation considering temperature distribution for a periodic air-conditioning system. A method coupling the contribution ratio of indoor climate (CRI) with the network model is proposed in this paper, and the thermal load of a single office room is discussed. Further, the effectiveness and superiority of this proposed method over others is proved.
