    A decrease of water supply quantity is actualized since such as a spread of water-saving equipment, penetration of resources-saving conscious and changes of lifestyle on building operation. The purpose of this study is to grasp effective water-saving equipment. Hence, the present conditions of water supply unit was estimated by management date of several office buildings which was renovated to water-saving equipment the whole country. In addition, the municipal solid wastes discharged from business activities are assumed that one of the index related to person's action with water use. A relation with water supply unit was conducted a survey water consumption of before and after that renovated saving-equipment from the measurement date of educational facilities. And to understand the characteristics such as number of uses of plumbing equipment. The water supply unit was average 49.1 ℓ/(person・day) in office building that has been renovated to water-saving equipment. Therefore, water consumption ratio is not the change on before and after renovation potable water is about 40% and recycling water (toilet bowl flushing water) is about 60% in a survey of educational facilities. Moreover, water supply was estimated 37.4ℓ/(person・day), this is generally consistent with the previous survey. Therefore, the characteristics discharged of municipal solid wastes discharged from business activities were suggested that may become one of the decided date on water supply unit setting.
