Results of the questionnaire survey showed that municipalities which frequently implemented ECEC offered concrete support for home economics teachers in junior high schools. Municipalities which were interviewed were divided into a positive group and a negative group by the implementation rate of ECEC. The positive group placed ECEC in an educational policy. The details of administrative support for junior high school home economics teacher were separated into two types. One was an indirect teacher support, and the other was a direct teacher support. The earthquake that struck the eastern and northern parts of Japan caused unprecedented disasters. And it changed our daily life in extraordinary ways. Therefore, I have conducted the survey to develop subjects to improve the risk recognition of the disaster, and to cultivate the ability to prepare among the senior high school students who reached the fourth year after the disaster. I have analyzed the contents of their free statements. In analyzing the data, I have concentrated on their recognition of problems in life, their resolution in disaster-stricken life and their preparation for disasters by the areas of residence and gender. As a result, I found the following: 1. There were common problems in their lives despite the differences of the areas of their residence and gender. 2. These common issues are as follows: how to confirm the safety of transportation, how to revise and deliver the evacuation manual, how much money in cash needed for evacuation, how to manage and deploy plans for the distribution by the local and central governments and companies, thorough disclosure of information, restoration measures of lifeline, supplies of foods and water for individuals, preparation for furnishings necessary to live, how to reduce and dispose trash, and to assure the information flow.
