In this work, records of 405 cases of malignant ovarian tumors experienced in the last five years were collected with the cooperation of 21 institutions in the Kinki region. It is true that there has been an increase in the incidence of ovarian cancer recently in Japan and treatment results are still not satisfactory, but it was evident from this investigation that the results of treatment of this disease in the Kinki region is gradually improving.
However, there are still no effective methods for the early diagnosis of ovarian cancer and it is necessary to stress that women should undergo periodic gynecological examinations in parallel with tests for uterine cancer.
The following were compiled from the overall results obtained in this work
    (1) The incidence of ovarian cancer is high in the 40-60 age range.
    (2) The stage of progress at the time of the final diagnosis was stage Tin 42.5% and stage III in 35.3% of the cases which indicates that there were many advanced cases.
    (3) Among the various histological types, the epithelial type tumor was most frequent at 56.5%. The percentages of the serous cyst and mucinous cyst type carcinomas were almost the same.
    (4) For treatment, anticancer agents are widely used and the use of several chemotherapeutics concomitantly is especially favored.
    (5) From the treatment results, survival rates were evaluated for each stage, histological type and type of treatment, and it was evident that the results of treatment in the Kinki region have recently tended to improve

This case was a 28-year-old nulligravidous woman with pelvic endometriosis, who had previously undergone two conservative operations.
Her chief complaints were massive vaginal bleeding and severe lower abdominal pain, which were presumably caused by extensive endometriosis with rectal invasion.
Little could be done to improve the condition despite a 4000ml blood transfusion and Danazol therapy (800mg/day) for one month.
It was concluded that the disease was impossible to treat conservatively since the lesions occupied the whole pelvis with severe adhesion of the uterus to adjacent organs, so we performed a hysterectomy with adnexectomy.
Endometriotic foci filled the cul-de-sac and grew in the rectal lumen polypously, infiltrating through the rectal wall. Histopathology of the lesions showed benign endometriosis of dilated glands surrounded by decidua-like-stroma without atrophy

We encountered a patient complaining of primary amenorrhea, abnormal external genitalia, hypertrichosis and acne.
On endoclinological and other examinations, we reached a diagnosis of adrenogenital syndrome caused by congenital adrenal hyperplasia. After partial clitoridectomy, the patient was started on glucocorticoid therapy with prednisolone 20mg per day. Dosage was gradually decreased according to the 17-KS rate in urine, and was maintained at 5mg per day.
After three weeks, menarche occured and about two months later, she started a regular ovulatory cycles. Six months later, the patient became pregnant but aborted spontaneously at 17 weeks. She was conceived again 3 years later. With a 5mg per day dosage of prednisolone, she had an uneventful pregnancy and delivered a female normal baby at the full term. Succesful pregnancy and delivery is very rare with case of adrenogenital syndrome, so we reported this case with some endoclinological data and obstetrical observations
