To research the relationship between size of heating range of horizontal furnace and the distribution of incident heat on the surface of beam, 4m and 8m beam-shaped specimens of inorganic material were heated assuming one-hour fire resistance test. The incident heat was greater for the long span(8m) than for the standard span(4m), and more on the sides of the beam than on the bottom. Furthermore, we calculated heat transfer properties based on temperature and incident heat obtained from the experiments. The convective heat transfer coefficient at the beam side was larger for the long span than for the standard span.
This study analyzed the relationship between living environment satisfaction and stress-relieving behavior in a house regarding Recovery Experience and Work Engagement from the following three perspectives.
1. Survey outline and stratified analysis for Co-Parenting Workers.
2. Stratified correlation analysis on gender and youngest child age.
3. Structural equation modeling of the effects of living environment and stress-relieving behavior.
In previous study, we proposed a heat balance model for predicting a cooling performance of ceiling radiant cooling panel and demonstrated that the temperature and cooling capacities calculated using this model were close agreement with the experimental data. Therefore, in this study, we demonstrate how to use the model in design practice. At first, the classification of the model parameter as input or output is clarified. Second, some examples of input and output settings are shown. Finally, it is shown that various diagrams for design ceiling radiant cooling panel system can be proposed by making full use of the model.
This paper examines the significance of waterside space for the "quality of life improvement effect" from an urban ecological perspective. We measured the physical quantity of external conditions in the residents' living environment and surveyed the local residents' awareness of the role of waterside space in their living environment. The results showed that the natural environment in the region is relatively rich, and that waterside space contributes to the development of a sense of community attachment and settlement. It was also revealed that the "relationship with the Ochiai River" contributed to the improvement of the quality of daily life.
