For the energy source for distribution tracking system, we made a new type of vibration proof pallet that reduces vibration and in the same time generates electricity. We made a model of the vibration proof pallet supposing the load and pallet as rigid body, and vibration isolating mechanism as parallel link, and did a simulation to evaluate electrical power generation and vibration isolation characteristic.

The use of mobile robots to provide services in homes and offices is a viable option to assist the human in tasks considered routine or difficult to perform due to physical disability, etc. To perform these tasks using robots the human-robot teaching process is a very feasible method, however due to the limitations in hardware (strength, mobility, etc.) that the mobile robot has, the replication of the task become complicated by a single robot, to address this problem in this research I am proposing to create a system capable of obtain the motion, force, etc. (through the use of sensors and self-developed tools) applied during the execution of a particular task performed by one human and create a database for teaching robots, through which the task requirements is evaluated by the system in order to decide if it is possible to execute the task by one robot or if it is necessary to divide/ distribute the task to more mobile robots in order to cooperate between them, so by combining their force, hardware tools abilities, etc. the mobile robots can equate the abilities of humans in order to provide services.

Mobile robots with wireless capabilities can enable network connectivity over large areas by relaying wireless signals from a ground station. Our goal is, for such robotic networks, to enhance current teleoperated robots' ability to perform reconnaissance or assist human first responders on victims' search and rescue operations. On these missions, uninterrupted communications between teleoperated robots and their human operators are essential. In order to maximize the teleoperated robots' working area, the robotic network has to deploy itself, in an unknown and potentially hazardous environment, spreading as much as possible without losing network connectivity. Therefore becoming an area coverage problem. In this paper, we present a distributed algorithm that enables simple mobile robots with no advanced self-localization capabilities to create a robotic network and self deploy. The proposed method employs a behavior-based distributed algorithm mainly based on wireless received signal strength measurements and relative locations between neighboring robots - which are obtained from particle filters. Real wireless signal strength and odometry sensors' data were collected and used to validate our approach.

This paper proposes a safe path generation based on a gradient method, and obstacle avoidance in an occluded area which is invisible area for the mobile robot. The gradient method is most widely used method for path generation; however, it could be plausible that collision may occur with speedy invisible dynamic obstacles. Therefore, in this paper, occluded humans can be detected using sensor installed in the environment and posterior existence probabilities of humans are calculated to redefine the cost function of a gradient method. By using the redefined cost function, safe path taking into account dynamic obstacles′ posterior behaviors to the current states is generated. Experimental results with real robot show that the proposed scheme works successfully in the real environment.

In the previous research, the integration of electrostatic adhesion and actuation was proposed as a promising technique for climbing robots and proved by several prototypes. However, the effects of design parameters on the adhesive and driving forces, considering the breakdown voltage, are still unclear. Using FEM simulation, this paper investigates the relationship between the parameters and the output forces with considering the limitation posed by the discharge or dielectric breakdown. The results show that the thicknesses of cover layer and the base layer influence the maximum force of adhesion as well as actuation. The force ratio between adhesion and driving forces is approximately proportional to the thickness ratio specifically defined in this paper. Finally, we propose a strategy to select parameters such as electrode pitch and thickness of each layer for given requirements on the robot performance.
