Vector mesons in color superconducting quark matter are studied on the basis of the QCD sum rules. We derive the general formula, which relates the masses of vector mesons to the chiral and diquark condensates in dense QCD. Our results suggest that the octet vector mesons at low densities go over continuously into the colored gluons at high densities.

In this write-up we summarize main result of our recent analysis on the thermal dilepton production rate from the dropping ρ based on the vector manifestation(VM). In the analysis, we showed that the effect of the strong violation of the vector dominance(VD) predicted by the VM, substantially suppresses the dilepton production rate compared with the one predicted by assuming the VD together with the dropping ρ.

We introduce a combined fully three-dimensional macroscopic/microscopic transport approach employing relativistic 3D-hydrodynamics for the early, dense, deconfined stage of the reaction and a microscopic non-equilibrium mode for the later hadronic stage. Within this approach we study the dynamics of hot, bulk QCD matter, which is being created in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions at RHIC. We discuss interactions between jets and medium which is described by the hybrid model of 3D hydro and UrQMD.

At zero temperature, the effects of strong repulsive force on the QCD phase transition are investigated. If the repulsive force between nucleons is infinite, there is no baryon density below the critical chemical potential at which hadronic matter undergoes transition to quark matter. Consequently, the baryon density behaves like the order parameter for deconfinement phase transition. We propose the simple toy model which possesses similar features of this extreme phase transition.
