The coalescence of two heavy-ions are studies in a sudden approximation and the exciton number distribution function is obtained. The distribution function is used as the initial distribution for the master equation of pre-equilibrium process. The multi-nucleon emission process is studied and the spectra of nucleons are calculated and compared with the results of equilibrium process.

We derive a master equation to describe the time evolution of the intrinsic state in heavy-ion collisions. It takes into account the energy supply from the relative motion due to the one-body dissipation mechanism, and the equilibration process and the particle emission due to the two-body residual interaction. We then calculate the energy spectrum and the angular distribution of the emitted protons in ^<14>N and ^<16>O induced reactions for various incident energies. The angular distribution is calculated based on a simple phase-space consideration. The numerical results agree very well with experimental data.

We study the Chang-Chang approach of fermion mass generation based on Nambu-Jona-Lasinio approach in arbitary gauge and show the solution is gauge invariant in two loop accuracy. We calculate the mass difference between Up and Down quarks. We also show electron mass can be dynamically generated in grand unified theory with one mass scale M_X.
