We investigate production processes of the scalar partner of top-quark (stop) in the framework of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). The existence of the light stop, which is lighter than the top-quark as well as the other squarks, is natural consequence of the MSSM and the stop with mass ≲30GeV has not been excluded both in TEVATRON and LEP data. It is shown that TRISTAN and HERA could have wider parameter region of the stop than TEVATRON and LEP, if we take careful analyses of the experimental signature cc^^- plus missing energies. Comments on the stoponium interpretation of the L3 events are also given.

We investigate the pair production of sleptons, which are candidates for the next-to-lightest SUSY particles, with longitudinally polarized e^- beams. We calculate the polarized cross-sections for the l^^〜^-_Rl^^〜^+_R and l^^〜^-_Ll^^〜^+_L (l = e,μ) production. Numerical calculations indicate that the polarized cross-sections distributions provide us with information for the SUSY parameters.

The decay of the charged Higgs boson H^+ is comprehensively studied in the minimal supersymmetric model. We find that the supersymmetric mode t^^^b^^< ≂> can overwhelmingly dominate the H^+ decay in a substantially wide (and still allowed) range of the model parameters due to the large t- and b- quark Yukawa couplings and the large t^^〜- and b^^〜- mixings and that this mode has very distinctive signatures compared to the "conventional" dominant modes γ^+ν_γ and tb^^-. This could shed a crucial impact on the H^+ search at future colliders.

Fully microscopic formalism is extensively applied to the width of thermal giant dipole resonances(GDR) built on the highly excited nuclear states. First, the formalism of thermal random phase approximation(TRPA) is extended to describe small deviation from thermal equilibrium due to quasiparticle number fluctuation effect on the mean field. The dissipative thermal RPA(DTRPA) equation is derived from the Liouville equation, and square of the imaginary part of TRPA frequency, (Imhw)^2, is described in terms of an eigenvalue equation. Secondly, to describe the other dissipative effect caused by mode-mode couplings, a temperature-dependent expression for the contribution to the spreading width of the GDR is derived based on the second TRPA. This microscopic formalism will be useful for theoretical studies of average properties at finite temperature such as motional narrowing effect in the self-sustaining finite system like a nucleus.

We show that the zero point .motion formula for the decay width of a metastable state can be derived by the L anger-Coleman- Affleck method, where the decay width is obtained from a semi-classical evaluation of the imaginary part of the free energy.

We study the collective response function for typical isoscalar modes on the basis of the selfconsistent transport theory. For the quadrupole vibration we find the usual low energy and giant resonance peaks at low temperature whereas all strength is concentrated in a low energy mode above a transition temperature of around 1.5 MeV. On the other hand, the peak of the resonance for the monopole vibration does not move to lower frequency for the increasing temperature. Only the peak becomes somewhat broader.

Langevin equation is applied to the study of the nuclear dissipative dynamics of fission. By including the particle evaporation in the continuoous limit, we calculate multiplicities of pre-fission neutrons. Coordinate dependence of the mass and the friction tensors is taken into account. Temperature and angular momentum dependence of the potential is also included. Results are discussed for the symmetric fission of ^<200>Pb. One-body friction is preferred from the consistent explanation of the neutron multiplicities and kinetic energies of fission fragments.
