We examine several asymmetries which are considerable in the rare b→d decays. The paper is focused on the semi-leptonic B→X_dl^+l^- decay. It is shown that CP-violation factor in the process gives non-trivial behaviour in the CP and lepton polarization asymmetries, but does not in the decay distribution and forward-backward asymmetry.

We investigate the nonlinear realization of spontaneously broken N=2 superconformal symmetry in 4 dimensions. We study Nambu-Goldstone degrees of freedom for the partial breaking of N=2 superconformal symmetry down to N=1 super-Poincare symmetry, where we get the chiral NG multiplet of dilaton and the vector NG multiplet of NG fermion of broken Q-supersymmetry. Evaluating the covariant derivatives and supervielbeins for the chiral as well as the full superspace, we obtain the nonlinear effective lagrangians [1].

The study of brane configuations has played a rich role in nonperturbative dynamics of SUSY gauge theories. We consider brane configurations in M-theory describing N = 1 supersymmetric gauge theories and using the parametric representation of the brane configurations, we can calculate the superpotentials for various cases including multiple gauge groups or fermions. For SU(n) N = 1 SQCD with N_f fermion case (N_f < N_c), we find that the superpotential from M-theory and the gauge theory agree precisely.

In this talk, I give a sketch of my recent work on the holomorphic properties of the MQCD. First we show that the MQCD super-potential defined by Witten is not appropriate for generic situation with quarks. We report a resolution of the problem which works for the brane configurations of 90 degree rotation, including the true SQCD. We find relation beetween the new and old definitions.

The dilaton field in string theories (if exists) is expected to have a mass of the order of the gravitino mass m_<3/2> which is in a range of 10^<-2>keV-1GeV in gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking models. If it is the case, the cosmic energy density of coherent dilaton oscillation easily exceeds the critical density of the present universe. We show that even if this problem is solved by a late-time entropy production (thermal inflation) a stringent constraint on the energy density of the dilaton oscillation is derived from experimental upperbounds on the cosmic X(γ)-ray backgrounds. This excludes an interesting mass region, 200keV≲m_<3/2>≲1GeV, in gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking models.
