^9_ΛBe hypernucleus was investigated by using the three-body Faddeev equation in the α-α-Λ model. We adopted a realistic α-α potential which was derived by a microscopic treatment based on the resonatfng-group method plus the orthogonal-condition model. Here, the Pauli blocking effects between two alphas are carefully taken into account. On the other hand, the α-Λ potential is given by a simple Gauss-type effective potential which was introduced by Tang and Herndon. The numerical calculation was done by the Amado-Lovelace-Mitra or the AGS type integral equation. We obtained 1/2^+, 3/2^+, 5/2^+, and three kinds of 3/2^-states. These energy spectra were in good agreement with low-lying energy spectra of ^9_ΛBe hypernucleus. Furthermore, three off-shell different α-Λ potentials were investigated to obtain 1/2^+, and 3/2^+ states.

An analysis is given for new data of Ξ^1・^<12>C atomic or nuclear systems from the emulsion-counter experiment at KEK. The double-Λ hypernucleus formation rate is calculated for stopped Ξ^- on ^4He. A high branching ratio of 37% is obtained for the ^4_<ΛΛ>H formation from a Ξ^- ・ ^4He atom. The detection of about 2.3 MeV neutron is proposed to search for the lightest double-Λ hypernucleus ^4_<ΛΛ>H.

We investigate the possible existence of a ^7_ΣLi bound state within the frame of the microscopic α+"2N"+Σ cluster model by using the effective Σ-N interaction which reproduces the experimental binding energy and width of ^4_ΣHe. One bound state of ^7_ΣLi is found with about 1.5 MeV binding energy and about 4.6 MeV width.

We propose a new formalism to investigate the energy spectra which was obtained in the K^- induced reaction on the ^9Be nucleus; ^9Be (K^- in-flight, π^-) ^9_ΛBe by Heidelberg-CERN, and also Heidelberg-Saclay-Strasbourg collaborations. This formalism is based on the three-body Faddeev equation for the multi clusters three-body model which is similar to the MTCC-method given for the ^6Li to reduce the six-body problems to three clusters. Here, the three cluster separation methods of ^9_ΛBe-hypernucleus are given by α-α-Λ, α-^4_ΛHe-n, α-^3_ΛH-d and α-^4_ΛH-p, and those of the target ^9Be-nucleus are by α-α-n and α-^3H-d, respectively.

In order to obtain the low-lying energy spectra of ^4He-nucleus, we use the 4-body Faddeev-Yakubovsky equation. For this purpose, we test the convergence of the separable expansion of the [3+1] and [2+2] subamplitudes. Here, we demonstrate (i) HSE, (ii) EDPE, (iii) GSE results for Y.Y. potential and PEST 1 potentials. It was found that the separable expansion forms should be constructed not only with the positive eigenvalue and the form factors, but also with the negative eigenvalue's one. Furthermore, results of the GSE method with the rank-3 is as good as the rank-6 HSE and EDPE results. We obtained-45.31MeV for the ground state and -11.40MeV for the first excited state of ^4He by using rank-3 GSE amplitudes with the Y.Y. potential. These results are slightly smaller than the results of HSE amplitudes.

Muonic atom collisions play important roles in the cycle of the muon catalyzed fusion. In order to investigate the reactions, Kamimura have developed a coupled-rearrangement-channel method with the explicit use of the Jacobian coordinates of the channels and have successfully applied it to the muon transfer reactions [2]. But, since the coupled integro differential equations for the scattering problem were solved by the Kohn variational method[3] with the use of the Gaussian basis functions, accuracy of the solutions were not very satisfactory at higher energies (≥ 1eV) and elastic collisoins. Therefore, we have developed a direct numerical method to solve those integro-differential equations under the scattering boundary condition and found the method to work very well for the problems. We further found that the method is useful in the study atomic collisions such as two-electron excited resonances in He atom and the electron scattering from He^+ ion.
