New classes of N=2 superconformal field theories in four dimensions are discussed. These theories are realized in the Coulomb branch of N=2 pure Yang-Mills theories and N=2 QCD. Universality classes are characterized by associated singular curves and scaling dimensions are obtained by making relevant deformations thereof.

We derive a simple formula for the periods associated with the low energy effective action of SU(2) Yang-Mills theory with massive N_f ≤ 3 hypermultiplets. This is given by evaluating explicitly the period integrals using various identities of hypergeometric functions. And also we show how to obtain the explicite form of the low energy quantum effective action for N=2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory in the weak coupling region. This is achieved by evaluating the integral representation of the fields explicitly.
