Using operator identities and heavy quark symmetry, we obtained a differential equation for B meson structure functions which is valid at the non-perturbative level. Performing twist expansions of this equation, contributions of higher twist operators are clarified.

We review the present status of the sliding singlet mechanism which can solve the doublet-triplet (DT) splitting problem dynamically. This attractive mechanism has been generalized to apply it to many unified scenarios. This research attempts to build various concrete E_6 unified models by using the generalized sliding singlet mechanism. As an example, we construct a simple E_6 unification model with an anomalous U(1) gauge symmetry in which the DT splitting is realized through this mechanism with the Dimopoulos-Wilczek (DW) type of vacuum expectation value (VEV) of an adjoint Higgs.

We study the EDM of an electron and a newtron using a Gauge Mediation SUSY Breaking (GMSB) model for the doublet-triplet splitting. We conceive the special model in which the discrete symmetry is introduced and then the gaugino mass becomes non-universal. As a result, the cancellation between chargino contributions and neutralino contributions on the EDM occurs, and those can appear the parameter regions that satisfy both soft breaking parameter of O(10^2)GeV and O(1) CP-phases.

We discuss the spontaneous baryogenesis mechanism in flat directions. After identifying the Nambu-Goldstone mode which derivatively couples to the associated U(1) current, we show that spontaneous baryogenesis can be naturally realized in the context of the flat direction. As an application, we discuss baryogenesis in a flat direction with vanishing B-L charge, especially, with neither baryon nor lepton charge, which was recently proposed by Chiba and us.
