    We have performed mass examination of uterine cancer about 1820 women in rural areas for 3 years from 1966, and discovered 7 carcinomas in situ, 2 invasive carcinomas and 1 recurrent carcinoma.
    Thus, we concieve, such mass examination have contributed to discover early uterine cancers and enlight the general public.

  • (1) ABOUT THE RESULTS BY URINE TESTS OF THE FARMERS

    A study was performed on 7090 persons living in the rural sections of Aomori prefecture with the Haemconbistixpaper test. 79% of them were women and 21% men. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1) From the total group, 385 pevsons (5.4%) had their former and a new disease-symptoms. And among them 255 persons (6.8%) who formed A group had heart disease, hypertension, nephritis and cystitis. In the diagnosis of these diseases the urine test is so important, that it has to be used.
    2) From the urine PH-test results, the majority of 7, 090 persons had acid reaction in their urine and only 2% all women had alcalic reaction.
    3) From the urine protein test results, 7.5% of them had urine protein (+)-(++++) and 0.55%(++)-(++++). But we can not find the difference among their sex, age and living districts.
    4) From the urine test results 2.8% had urine sugar (+)-(++++), and 1.0%(++)-(++++), We can not find the difference between their age and living district, but there are many persons living on a farm with urine sugar.
    5) From urine sugar test results 3.5% persons over 40 years old had urine sugar (+)-(++++), and 8.1% all men over 40 years old had urine sugar (+)-(++++). But there are 34 womens under 40 years old with urine sugar.
    6) 0.71% of persons over 40 years old had sugar and protein in their urine.
    7) From of urine latent blood reaction results, 65 persons (0.91%) had (++)-(++++) p, and the majority of them were women living on a farm.
