Geographical pathology offers us data on the quality of health of the human material with whom new industrial plants in developing as well as in developed countries will be staffed. These data in conjunction with the known hazards presented by a specific industry, will guide us in the siting of plants. Comparative studies in geographical pathology may suggest causal factors of disease and supply know-how for raising the standard of health. As a consequence the productivity of labour will rise and this in turn will improve the standard of living.
