A survey on sixth graders, of their consciousness toward homemaking their interest and willingness toward items of learning, learning methods and activities produced the following results. 1.Pupils understand the necessity produced by learning on all categories. 2.Textbook-based learning produces relatively high satisfaction levels in every item, especially 'experiment, practice, and production' in the study of clothing ; 'survey and observation' and 'experiment and practice' in the study of food ; 'discussion' and 'research and observation' in household and housing studies. 3.Substantial pupil involvement in household chores was found, especially those that concern themselves. 4.Pupils consider homemaking enjoyable and useful in their everyday lives, though they are hardly satisfied with their families support in learning homemaking, nor talk to other members about the course.
